Jessie trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with a first-class (hons) in Musical Theatre. Credits include: The Great Jewish American Songbook (Upstairs at the Gatehouse); Regina in Rock of Ages (UK national tour); Lydia Bennett in Pride and Prejudice (Lyric Theatre, Belfast, and Everyman, Cork); Young Sally in Follies (Opéra de Toulon); Anja/ Mags/Jill/Emma/Georgina/Dominique in Impotent, an original comedy (Lion and Unicorn Theatre, London); Sheila in Hair (European tour); Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales Theatre, West End, and international tour); Darlene in Raindogs (Trafalgar Studios); The Sound of Music in Cyprus (Larnica International Festival) and Make Me a Song (Charing Cross Theatre). Jessie has also been part of the workshop process for new musicals ODD, Lia’s Guide to Winning the Lottery, Defect, From Here to Eternity and Dusty. Jessie also does regular voiceover work and can be heard as Humf’s Mum in the Nickelodeon Jr animation Humf (King Rollo Films). @jmaychild
